This is who we are
LIGHTHOUSE is a software company based in the Hamburg suburbs. We were established in 1997 – initially as a pure consultancy business. That’s why Management Consulting is part of our name. In 2004, when SAP offered to expand the capabilities of their Learning Solution (LSO) product, we decided to focus on the development and marketing of standard HR software. Our products are fully integrated in SAP HCM applications (in the ERP system). In 2007 we concluded a development contract with SAP SE (at the time SAP AG), which is still in force today.

In addition to the management we employ fine innovative employees: developers, quality assurance experts, trainers, consultants, marketing and sales specialists.

In addition to the management we employ 15 innovative individuals: six developers, two quality assurance experts, two trainers and consultants and two marketing and sales specialists. The other three team members handle all the administrative tasks.

Jana Smolawa
Jana is responsible for the software development process, from design to delivery. For twelve years she worked alongside former SAP director with responsibility for HCM applications, Klaus Tschira (†2015), and was in charge of the development of SAP HCM-PD products.

Lutz Henke (MBA)
Lutz is responsible for sales, marketing and quality assurance. He spent six years at SAP AG in Walldorf, Germany, where he headed the Professional Service HCM-PD team, and he’s LIGHTHOUSE’s founder.

Good to know
We are a development partner of SAP SE, Walldorf, Germany. Our products comply with all the necessary USP requirements under rules governing public and private-sector supply contracts and services. In other words, calls for tenders are not necessary for our products. That saves time and money!
